Death

Your choices in life are very important, especially when it comes to your health. Early deaths are will always be hard to deal with no matter what age. Infants and children can die from birth defects, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), pregnancy complications and rare childhood cancers. In adolescence, the leading causes of death are accidents, suicide and murder. During one’s midlife, cancer poses a serious threat. Most people in their fifties and sixties have usually heard the news that a friend or even relative their age has died from cancer and heart disease. Family history has a lot to do with these diseases too. Other causes that contribute to an early death are obesity, poor nutrition habits, smoking, lack or exercise and excessive drinking. On a positive note, good lifestyle habits, cancer screening test, and cholesterol and blood pressure lowering drugs can aide prevention of an early death.
In my opinion, people should be more aware of their health. Not everyone is perfectly healthy, so they need to take care of themselves before it is too late. You might not be able to completely assure yourself that you won’t get cancer or heart disease or any other illness, but why take the risk. If there are things to do to promote your health, then you should take these steps. Even though you may not want to do some of the preventative measures, they will benefit you in the future.
